Next week is our last week to sponsor the BCSC Food Pantry. We will be sponsoring fun days to make a final push for donations.  

Monday – Bring your favorite food and you can wear your favorite shoes – including flip flops!

Tuesday – Red and White Day – bring foods that are red and white (think spaghetti!)

Wednesday – Bring a breakfast item and you can wear your pajamas!

Thursday – Tailgate Thursday – Bring an item you would take to a tailgate party and wear your clothing from favorite sports team.

Friday – Hats off to the Food Pantry – Bring an item and you can wear a hat.

From Dr. Smitherman:

This is our month to sponsor the BCSC Food Pantry.   We will be collecting different items each week of August.  Next week we’ll be collecting toiletry and paper products.  This can include anything from toilet paper or household cleaners, to shampoo and toothpaste.  To increase the intake, we will sponsor a competition.  The grade level with the most donations will get an extra recess.  Remember, items that are bundled do not count separately.  Do not take toilet paper out of the package to count it as four rolls.
