*We will no longer be completing Spelling Menus for our Vocab/Spelling words. Instead, students will be completing short assignments each night for homework to provide vocab/spelling practice. I cannot answer for whether or not Mrs. Fiete will utilize the Spelling Menu when she returns. I will explain my reasoning for nixing the menu, and then the decision will be hers. Thanks for understanding :-)

**Students started working today on their end-of-book Lit Circle projects. They will have 30 minutes in class each day (Today, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) to work on their projects. Students may ALSO work on their projects at home if they choose. Projects need to be ready to share with the class on Friday. Your child has a packet with the 3 choices and details for Lit Circle projects.

*Dog Dash is our annual fundraiser. Dog Dash will be held on Friday, September 9 this year. Your child will be bringing home information tonight.

**I still need a few of the yellow information sheets to be signed and sent back. Your child knows if this is him/her.

And one last reminder...It is a 3 day weekend. No school on Monday. Enjoy the weekend and stay safe.
