Today in class we did ISTEP we also wrote a draft on a project in art. Then we did math and of course that was on fractions. Now here is your homework:

Food Friday

Today in class we had a no fine celebration for the no fine people in our class Mrs.Davis and Mr. Burkes class was in it with the no fine people. This celebration took place in Mrs.Davis's class. We also did some math on math boxes and we did another thing on reducing fractions and adding fractions. Next we finished our book Oliver's Travels but are not quite finished with our packet on it. Well there is no homework over the weekend and i hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!!!

Hello parents and students! We had a busy afternoon with the no-fine party, and I'm filling in for our trusty blogger. We had some information to share with you tonight.

1. Friday folders are not coming home tonight. With all the hub-bub, that didn't get done either. Expect meaty folders next week! If you have any questions about grades, feel free to check out powerschool and/or email me.
2. Scholastic Book order forms (2 different forms) are coming home tonight. Due date for these orders is Monday, 3/14. This is insure that books are in the students' hands before spring break.
3. Monday begins the Applied Skills portion of this year's ISTEP. If you'd like to practice at home, you can go to this link and see the problems from the past 4 years. We've worked a lot of these in class, and I believe the students are good to go. However, if you or your students want a little extra practice, feel free to check them out. Be sure to select 4th grade materials!
4. With ISTEP starting Monday, it's important that students get a GOOD night's rest on Sunday night, and a good breakfast Monday morning. Anything we adults can do, the better! Remind your student was smart little spud they are, and squeeze them tight!
5. Because of ISTEP, there will not be homework next week. I will pass out spelling menu for students to work on if they wish, but nothing else. They may be asked to share information they learned in class with you, but there will be no assignments turned in. Enjoy the break!

Today in class we read some more in our Oliver's Travels book. We also did our vocab test and we wrote a draft on what we would do if a neighbor or your community asked you to do something. We did some math on math boxes and we did a couple pages about fractions. Well now here is your homework:

Wedding Wednesday

Today in class we finally i got to do some of our science project with gum!!!! We also did a review check on morning work which was math boxes. Then we read some more in our Oliver's Travels book and we also did a game with the slate that we made and played. Lastly we went to the computer lab and added some more areas on our Oliver's Travels packet and we did a game and a assignment. Now here is your homework:

• Spelling test Friday
• And you need to take the Fraction of game and teach it to someone

Fruit Friday

Today in class we did a review on our morning work(which was fractions,again) . Today we also went to library and finished our Science Court investigation. We also did our sub celebration and we got go outside for 30 minutes for every on in Mrs. Fiete's class. Last we did a Oliver's Travels quiz on chapter 5-10.
