1.       One of the hooks we discussed in class:

a.       setting, dialogue, mood/feel, point of view/perspective, sound

2.       Problem/Mystery that is obvious

3.       Problem/Mystery is solved

4.       At least 3 pieces of Figurative Language

5.       Readers can follow and understand your story—it makes sense

6.       Less than 10 mistakes on spelling and punctuation

7.       IF I CAN’T READ IT, I WON’T GRADE IT!
