**Blog Brag**
Today, I get the privilege if bragging about five different students in our class. Ask YOUR student how they could end up on our blog brag.
Sir Keaton has been a joy to have in class so far. Today, he did a great job reading his DIBELS passages, and then he cruised right on into reading with his partner. He uses great expression as he reads-- which makes it such a joy to listen to him read! I may not know him inside and out yet, but I can tell from his laughing and twinkling eye, he is going to be a lot of fun to be around ALL YEAR!
Jake M --man oh man are we lucky to have him! He's a trooper for sure. On his first day at school, he crashed at recess and got a bloody mess on his knee! But that didn't keep him down. By the end of the day he was smiling! He is playful and fun, and eager to share in class. I'm so grateful his was put in MY class. Basically, he's awesomesauce.
Olivia, also known as Katy Perry, is a rock star too (obviously). I call her Katy Perry because I wrote her name wrong repeatedly, giving her the wrong last name of "Perry." The only Perry I know is Katy Perry, so I just started calling Olivia that. She looks like a rock star today with sparkly shirt and sandals. If she's not careful, I think Ms. Becerra might steal her sandals. I'm just saying... the girl's got style!!
Owen was almost left of this list!! Silly goose. Maybe he was talking when I asked for my Blog Brag people? Noooooo, not Owen! :) Owen, so far, has been a really fun kid to have around. He's got a smile that last for days, and a great sense of humor. He is playful and kind. I'm really excited to get to know him more. Today, he worked hard during reading and got to move his piece. I think this is the promise of great things to come from him this year.
Last, but certainly not least, is our resident entomologist, Conner R. Bless Conner's heart, I misspelled his first AND last name on his name tag for supply drop off night. Thank goodness he's a forgiving soul! Conner is very eager to learn and he has so many great things to share with the class. I think I'm going to learn a lot from him this year. He's a speed racer when it comes to getting work done-- if he were in the Indy 500, he'd blow by the pace car in a jiff! He's got a great smile and I adore his energy. Again, how did I get so lucky to have this fella in my class??
